Tribute to Glenn Miller - VHS

The unforgettable strains of "Moonlight Serenade" open this tribute to Glenn Miller, and then Lawrence leads the magnificent Welk orchestra. Includes "String Of Pearls," "American Patrol," "Sunrise Serenade" and more.

Guy and Ralna reprise the wartime hit, "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree"; the band does a marvelous version of "String of Pearls"; and Dick Dale, surrounded by seven pretty Welk girls, happily croons "Elmer's Tune."

Clay Hart and guitar perform "Chattanooga Choo Choo." Anacani, then fairly new to the show, sings "Perfidia", Tom Netherton salutes "Indian Summer," and Jack Imel and Johnny Klein pair up on the drums to headline a sensational version of Miller's rousing "St. Louis Blues March."
